According to Eric Edholm, Florida International QB James Morgan has had 14 virtual meetings with NFL in addition to meeting with 26 of the 32 teams at the East/West Shrine game.
Edholm adds that the Buccaneers, Eagles, Patriots, Colts, Titans, Jets, Raiders, Cowboys, Saints, Bills, Dolphins, Giants, Chargers, Rams and Packers are among the teams that appear to be showing “legitimate interest” in Morgan.
Aaron Wilson previously mentioned that Wilson notes that Morgan has drawn comparisons from scouts to Kirk Cousins and Joe Flacco.
Morgan originally began his college career at Bowling Green before transferring to Florida International for the 2018 season. He figures to be an interesting quarterback prospect to watch in this year’s draft based on the buzz he’s generated in the past few months.
In total, Morgan threw for 8,654 yards while completing 57.2 percent of his passes for to go along with 65 touchdowns and 34 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 42 games.
