WSVN 7 News in Miami is reporting that former Bengals and Dolphins RB Mark Walton has been arrested again after police responded to a domestic dispute at around 3:30 am Thursday.
Walton reportedly got into a verbal dispute with the mother of his child, but there was no physical contact between Walton and the woman.
Police did, however, arrest Walton for violating a restraining order she filed against him.
This is the fifth arrest for Walton dating back to early last year.
Walton was in the midst of a four-game suspension related to being arrested three times in less than three months, which ultimately led to his release from the Bengals. He later received six months probation for pleading no contest to a misdemeanor weapons charge.
From there, Walton was arrest for allegedly punching a woman, who was pregnant with his son, “several times in the face and head.” Miami cut him soon after.
Walton, 22, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2018. Cincinnati waived him and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins.
Walton was in the second year of his four-year, $3,145,348 and set to make a base salary of $570,000 for the 2019 season when the Dolphins waived last November.
In 2019, Walton appeared in seven games for the Dolphins and rushed for 201 yards on 53 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 89 yards and no touchdowns.
