Former Browns TE Randall Telfer Retiring From NFL

Former Browns TE Randall Telfer announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday.

Telfer, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2,397,536 contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season when the Browns traded him to the Chiefs for LB Dadi Nicolas.

However, the trade was later rescinded and Telfer was later waived and claimed by the Colts. Indianapolis elected to cut him loose a day later.

In 2017, Telfer appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and caught three passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
