Former Jaguars LB Blair Brown Arrested On Domestic Battery Charge

Michael DiRocco of ESPN reports that former Jaguars LB Blair Brown has been arrested and charged with domestic battery.

According to DiRocco, Brown was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and taken to the jail at 5:41 pm ET on Thursday.

A first domestic violence offense comes with a six-game suspension based on the NFL’s domestic violence policy.

Brown, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2,694,715 contract and was set to make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season when the Jaguars waived him a few weeks ago.

Brown is currently a free agent.

In 2018, Brown appeared in 15 games for the Jaguars and recorded two tackles and a fumble recovery.
