Former Packers and Lions WRย Jared Abbredaris announced his retirement from the NFL Friday night via his Twitter account.

Abbrederis, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2014. He was in the second year of his three-year, $1.575 million contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season when the Packers waived from injured reserve with a settlement during the season.
The Lions later signedย Abbrederis to a future/reserve contract last year before cutting him loose in November.
For his career, Abbredaris caught 13 passes for 163 yards receiving and no touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 21 games. He also totaled 52 kick return yards.
