Bills head coach Chan Gailey told reporters that Fred Jackson will most likely play against the Patriots this weekend, assuming that he doesn’t suffer a setback in the coming days.
“I think if we make it through the next couple days and continue to improve I think he’ll have the opportunity to play,” said Gailey, via theย Buffalo News.

Bills running back Fred Jackson practiced Wednesday and believes his knee has recovered well enough to play Sunday, per Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Buffalo.
“In my mind I play. But like I said, it’s not always just totally up to me. I feel like I can play right now,” Jackson told Buscaglia.
Heading into practice this morning, Jackson said his knee was “a little sore, a little swollen,” but he was able to participate in today’s practice. With C.J. Spiller now a long shot to play and Jackson explaining he was on 70-75 percent healthy at the beginning of the week, it wouldn’t be surprising if running back Tashard Choice is the Bills feature back this Sunday against the Patriots.
