Giants Asking For 2nd-Round Pick For S Landon Collins, One Team Has Offered 3rd-Rd Pick

Albert Breer reports that the Giants haven’t been actively shopping S Landon Collins, but they’ve received inquiries from teams. However, Breer says that the Giants’ asking price has been a second-round pick.

According to Breer, the Giants are more likely to trade CB Janoris Jenkins at this point than Collins.

Ralph Vacchiano hears that one team has offered them a third-round pick for Collins.

Collins, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $6.12 million rookie contract that included $4.459 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1,269,621 for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Collins has appeared in seven games for the Giants and recorded 57 tackles, no interceptions and four pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 25 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
