The Giants announced Monday they’ve signed undrafted rookie free agent G Austin Droogsma.
New York also signed former Virginia Tech K Joey Slye following rookie minicamp this past weekend, per Pat Leonard.
The Giants also cut three players, including LB Ukeme Eligwe, DE Myles Humphrey, and DB Michael Hunter.

Hunter, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2016. He was on and off of their active roster and later returned to New York on a futures contract for the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, the Giants waived Hunter with an injury designation during the 2017 season and he was later waived with an injury settlement. Hunter had brief stints with the Jets, Broncos and Bills before signing on to the Texans’ practice squad last season.
In 2017, Hunter appeared in four games but did not record a statistic.
