Update:
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that the list of suitors for free agent TE Brandon Pettigrew includes the Chiefs, Jets, Lions and Raiders.
- Manish Mehta previously reported that Pettigrew expects to have a deal in place with a new team at some point in the near future.
- Mehta adds that the Jets have recently been in communication with Pettigrew.
Pettigrew, 29, caught 41 passes for 416 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 14 games. We have him listed as the No. 76 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

Mike Silver of the NFL Network reports that the Giants, Jets, Texans and Raiders could all be options for free agent TE Brandon Pettigrew.
- Silver adds that a return to Detroit remains a possibility at this point in time.
Lions GM Martin Mayhew previously mentioned that retaining Pettigrew was among the team’s offseason priorities, but it appears as though he could have a decent market.
