Giants Place ILB Dan Connor On Injured Reserve

The New York Giants placed ILB Dan Connor on injured reserve Thursday.

Connor, 27, left Week 1’s game against the Cowboys with a neck injury that was referred to as a “burner.” Mark Herzlich will most likely be asked to replace Connor for the remainder of the season.

New York did claim LB Allen Bradford off of waivers from the Seahawks today, so they managed to at least add some extra depth at the position.

Connor signed a one-year deal worth $780,000 with the Giants back in March.
