The New York Giants have placed P Riley Dixon and LS Casey Kreiter on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.
This comes a day after Giants K Graham Gano was placed on the COVID-19 list, so there are some concerns about the team’s special teams unit for Week 11’s game.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Dixon, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. The Broncos traded him to the Giants during the 2018 offseason for a conditional seventh-round pick.
Dixon was in the final year of his four-year, $2.42 million contract when he agreed to a three-year extension with the Giants last year.
In 2020, Dixon has appeared in 10 games for the Giants and totaled 1,591 yards on 36 attempts (44.2 YPA), which includes 21 downed inside the 20-yard-line.
