The New York Giants have officially placed WR Jalen Williams on injured reserve after he passed through waivers unclaimed on Thursday.
Williams wound up going undrafted out of UMass close to a month ago before eventually signing on with the Giants. New York elected to waive Williams with an injury designation on Wednesday.
During his college career at UMass, Williams caught 47 passes for 827 yards receiving (17.6 YPR) to go along with 20 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns over the course of 20 games.
