Giants Re-Sign DB Madre Harper & OT Jackson Barton, Sign 13 To Futures Deals

The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve re-signed DB Madre Harper and OT Jackson Barton to contracts for the 2021 season. Both players were in line to be exclusive rights free agents in the coming months.

The Giants also signed 13 players to futures contracts for the 2021 season including:

4. DB Jarren Williams
5. QB Alex Tanney
6. DB Quincy Wilson
7. LS Carson Tinker
8. G Kenny Wiggins
9. TE Rysen John
10. RB Taquan Mizzell
11. DT David Moa
12. G Chad Slade
13. QB Clayton Thorson

Harper, 23, signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois this past May. Las Vegas waived him coming out of camp but re-signed him to the practice squad.

The Giants later signed Harper to their active roster. 

In 2020, Harper appeared in nine games for the Giants and recorded five tackles and a fumble recovery.
