According to Jordan Raanan, the Giants have renegotiated C Spencer Pulley‘s deal.
Pulley had two years left on his deal at $2.75 million each year with no guarantees. New York eliminated the second year and dropped his base salary from $2.325 million to $1.625 million.
In exchange for the $700,000 pay cut, the rest of Pulley’s contract this year was guaranteed.
Pulley, 27, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in 2016. He lasted just over two years with the Chargers before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Giants in 2017.
Pulley was set to be a restricted free agent in 2018 when the Giants signed him to a three-year, $9.6 million extension
In 2018, Pulley appeared in four games for the Giants and started once at center.
