The New York Giants announced Wednesday that they’ve signed DT Izaah Lunsford and waived P Taylor Symmank.
Lunsford, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green last May. He was, unfortunately, placed on waivers coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.
Green Bay elected to cut him loose from the squad towards the end of last season.
During his college career at Bowling Green, Lunsford recorded 92 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and three pass defenses over the course of 31 games.
