ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Giants have signed former Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million.
This is a great move for a team that’s in desperate need of help at the tight end position. Bennett hasn’t exactly been a force in the passing game but he’s a more than capable blocker with decent athleticism. A one-year deal is worth the risk for New York.
