According to Adam Schefter, the Giants are signing K Chandler Catanzaro to a one-year deal.
Catanzaro will replace former Giants K Aldrick Rosas and was last with the Jets before being released from their retired list yesterday.
Catanzaro retired last August but apparently is ready to resume his NFL career.
Catanzaro, 29, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2014. He has spent his first three years of his career with the Cardinals before they elected to not tender him a contract.
The Jets later signed him to a one-year contract and after a year in New York, Catanzaro agreed to a contract with the Buccaneers. The Bucs waived him in November and he later returned to the Jets last year.
For his career, Catanzaro converted 119 of 142 field goal attempts (83.8 percent) to go along with 182 of 196 extra point tries (92.9 percent) over the course of five seasons.
