According to Ian Rapoport, the Giants are signing former Patriots special teamer and S Nate Ebner.
New Giants HC Joe Judge was New England’s ST coordinator, so he’s familiar with what Ebner can bring.
Ebner was hopeful to re-sign with the Patriots, but joining Judge in New York isn’t a bad alternative.
Ebner, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2012. He just finished a two-year, $5 million contract and is set to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2019, Ebner appeared in 14 games and recorded seven total tackles and no interceptions.
