The New York Giants officially waived LB Keion Adams from injured reserve on Monday.
Adams, 24, was selected in the seventh round by the Steelers in the 2017 NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2,466,017 contract but was waived coming out of the preseason last year.
Adams returned to the Steelers on a futures contract this past January, but was waived shortly after the draft. The Giants signed him to a contract in June before waiving him with an injury designation at the start of the regular season.
Adams reverted to the Giants’ injured reserve list.
During his four-year college career at Western Michigan, Adams recorded 126 tackles, 33 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and a pass defense over the course of 44 games.
