The NFL announced that Jaguars DE Dante Fowler has been suspended one game for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

This stems from Fowler’s arrest that occurred last year.
Fowler, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $23.5 million fully guaranteed contract and is set to earn a base salary of $3,638,214 for the 2018 season.
The Jaguars declined Fowler’s fifth-year option a few months ago.
In 2017, Fowler appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and recorded 21 total tackles, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and scored one defensive touchdown. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 93 overall edge defender out of 106 qualifying players.
