This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, considering that Ramsey is one of the best young cornerbacks in the NFL.
Ramsey’ option should cost the Jaguars around $13 million for the 2020 season and will become fully guaranteed on the first day of 2020 league year.
Ramsey, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2016. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $23.35 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $3.63 million the final year of the agreement.
In 2018, Ramsey appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and recorded 65 tackles, three interceptions and 13 pass defenses.
