Jaguars LB Leon Jacobs Out For Season With Torn ACL

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jaguars’ LB Leon Jacobs tore his ACL last night and is out for the season.

You can expect the Jaguars to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

It was clear that this was a serious injury for Jacobs, as he had to be helped by trainers on to the cart before being taken to the locker room.

We wish Jacobs the best in his recovery.

Jacobs, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.55 million contract.

For his career, Jacobs has appeared in 29 games for the Jaguars and recorded 56 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass defense.
