Ozigbo has been dealing with a hamstring injury and now will have to sit out at least the first three weeks of the season. He had been in the running to replace RB Leonard Fournette.
Ozigbo, 23, signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 2019. He was waived coming out of the preseason and claimed off waivers by the Jaguars.
In 2019, Ozigbo appeared in 10 games and carried the ball nine times for 27 yards while adding three catches for 23 yards.
