The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve placed rookie OL Ben Bartch placed on the COVID-19 list.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Bartch, 22, was a two-year starter at St. John’s and earned second-team All-American honors last season. The Jaguars selected him with the No. 116 pick in this year’s draft.
Bartch signed a four-year, $4,058,615 rookie contract that includes a $763,615 signing bonus.
In 2020, Bartch has been active for 13 games and made one start for Jacksonville.
