Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Jaguars have begun cutting players starting with WRย Tandon Doss, who is beingย released outright.
- Jacksonville also cut LB Mister Alexander, DE Camaron Beard, OL Cody Booth, CB Tommie Campbell, S Desmond Cooper, DT Eric Crume, LB Khairi Fortt, TE Connor Hamlett, P Kasey Redfern, OL Jack Rummells,ย and QB Jeff Tuel. (Mark Long)
- WRย Greg Jenkins was waived/injured, so he could end up on their injured reserve list.

Doss, 25, isย a former fourth-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2011. He was cut loose by the Ravens after two years with the team.
Jacksonville wound up signing him toย a two-year, $1.505 million contractย thatย included a $65,000 signing bonus back in March of last year. He was set to make a base salary ofย $745,000 for the 2015 season.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Doss will free upย $770,000 in cap space while creatingย $32,500 inย dead money.
Doss hasn’t appeared in a game since the 2013 season while playing for the Ravens. Last year, he appeared in 15 games and caught 19 receptions forย 305 yards receiving and no touchdowns while contributing on special teams.
