According to Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are releasing TE Geoff Swaim.
Swaim signed with Jacksonville as a free agent last year, but spent much of his first season recovering from injury instead of playing.
Per Over The Cap, cutting Swaim clears a little more than $4 million in cap space for Jacksonville with $250,000 in dead money.
Swaim, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2015. He finished the final year of his four-year, $2,334,732 contract and made a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season before signing a two-year, $6.6 million deal.
In 2019, Swaim appeared in six games for the Jaguars and caught 13 passes for 65 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
