Jaguars HC Doug Marrone officially ruled out RB Leonard Fournetteย (hamstring) on Wednesday for Week 5’s game against the Chiefs.
Fournette managed to return to the team last week, but wound up re-injuring his hamstring.
Adam Schefter reports Fournette appears likely to miss “at least” two games this time around.
Fournette, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $27.15 million contract that’s fully guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1.69 million for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Fournette has appeared in one game and rushed for 41 yards on 9 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 14 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
