Jaguars Sign First-Round CB Jalen Ramsey To A Four-Year Deal

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Sunday that they have agreed to terms with first-round CB Jalen Ramsey.

Third-rounder pick Yannick Ngakoue is now the only unsigned draft pick for the Jaguars.

Ramsey, 21, was taken with the No. 5ย overall pickย by the Jaguars.ย Unfortunately for the Jaguars, Ramsey suffered a small meniscus tear this past week and is getting a second opinion on the injury.

This comes just a year after they lost first-round DEย Dante Fowlerย for the season after he tore his ACL during offseason workouts.

Ramseyย could be back in 4-6 weeks or 4-6 months, depending on the type of treatment he undergoes for hisย meniscus tear.

According toย OverTheCap.com, Ramseyย receives aย four-year contract worth $23,350,998ย to go along with a signing bonus of $15,182,544. The contract will include a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2019.

During his three-year career at Florida State, Ramsey recorded 181 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, five sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles, two recoveries, and 22 pass defenses.
