The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Sunday that they have agreed to terms with first-round CB Jalen Ramsey.
Third-rounder pick Yannick Ngakoue is now the only unsigned draft pick for the Jaguars.
Ramsey, 21, was taken with the No. 5 overall pick by the Jaguars. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, Ramsey suffered a small meniscus tear this past week and is getting a second opinion on the injury.
This comes just a year after they lost first-round DE Dante Fowler for the season after he tore his ACL during offseason workouts.
Ramsey could be back in 4-6 weeks or 4-6 months, depending on the type of treatment he undergoes for his meniscus tear.
According to OverTheCap.com, Ramsey receives a four-year contract worth $23,350,998 to go along with a signing bonus of $15,182,544. The contract will include a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2019.
During his three-year career at Florida State, Ramsey recorded 181 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, five sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles, two recoveries, and 22 pass defenses.
