Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Jaguars have re-signed Sย Sherrod Martin to a contract.
Martin, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Panthers back in 2009. He spent the first four years of his career with Carolina before signing a future/reserve contractย with the Jaguars last December. ย Unfortunately, Martin was among the Jaguars final roster cuts.
He hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2012 when he appeared in 12 games and recorded 23 tackles, a forced fumble and three pass defenses.
Martin sat out the 2013 seasonย after he toreย his ACL and MCL inย December of 2012.
