The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of TE Fendi Onobun on Thursday.
- The Jaguars also waive/injured TE Reggie Jordan to make room for Onobun.
Onobun, 27, is a former sixth-round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams. He lasted just a few months with the Rams before he was placed on waivers at the start of the 2010 season.
Onobun has played for a number of teams since being draft including: the Seahawks, Redskins, Jaguars, Bills and Bears. He’s a former basketball player who spent the entire 2013 season on the Bears’ practice squad, but he has yet to appear in an NFL game since the 2011 season.
Jordan, 23, signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State back in May.
