According to Tim McManus, the Jaguars plan to sign CB Sidney Jones to the practice squad.
The Eagles just released the former second-round pick yesterday and he’s looking for a fresh start to revive his NFL career.
Jones, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $6.14 million contract that included $3.814 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1.3 million for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Jones appeared in 12 games for the Eagles and recorded 22 tackles, two interceptions and passes defended.
