Linkenbach, 28, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in 2010. He wound up spending four years in Indianapolis before signing on with the Chiefs as an an unrestricted free agent last year.
The Dolphins signed Linkenbach to a contract back in April of last year, but he was cut loose towards the end of the year to free up a roster spot for QB Logan Thomas. The Chargers claimed him off of waivers.
The Bears brought him in for a tryout this past weekend, but didn’t sign him to a contract.
In 2015, Linkenback appeared in 10 games for the Dolphins and Chargers.
