Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jaguars are signing TE Blake Bell to a contract on Tuesday.
The Jaguars have also placed TE Niles Paul on injured reserve with an MCL sprain, per Phillip Heilman.
Bell, 27, is a former fifth-round pick by the 49ers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was waived by the 49ers coming out of the preseason last year as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings.
Minnesota elected to waive Bell at the start of the regular season.
In 2017, Bell appeared in 13 games for the Vikings and caught three passes for 19 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
