According to Aaron Wilson, the Jaguars brought in four kickers for workouts on Tuesday, including Chase McLaughlin.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- K Jon Brown
- K Elliott Brown
- K Chase McLaughlin
- K Giorgio Tavecchio
McLaughlin, 23, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in May. He was among Buffalo’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and caught on with the Vikings’ practice squad.
Minnesota wound up cutting him after a week with the team on September 10. He later signed on with the Chargers earlier this month but was cut a few days ago.
In 2019, McLaughlin has appeared in four games for the Chargers and converted 6 of 9 field-goal attempts to go along with all seven extra-point tries.
