Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that Jalen Mills intends to sign a one-year contract with the Eagles and will move to safety.
According to Mike Garafolo, Mills receives a one-year contract worth up to $5 million from the Eagles.
Mills, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.58 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Mills appeared in nine games for the Eagles and recorded 41 tackles, one interception and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 99 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.
