ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that although Bengalsย LB James Harrison tweeted goodbye to Cincinnati,ย he has not been released yet.
Schefter adds that the Bengals and Harrison have spoken and are expected to continue to discuss the situation.

Harrison, 35, signed aย two-year contract worthย $4.45 million that includedย a $1.2 million signing bonus with the Bengals last April. He had a base salary ofย $1.1 million to go along withย $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses coming his way in 2014.
According to OvertheCap.com, Harrison’s 2014 cap figure wasย $2,034,375 million. The Bengals will saveย $1,434,375 million by releasing him.
Last year, he appeared inย 15 games totalingย 31 tackles, two sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 outside linebacker in a 4-3 defense in 2013.
