Mims had been on injured reserve dealing with a hamstring injury that dates back to almost the start of training camp. He’s now set to make his first appearance with the Jets.

Mims, 22, was selected with the No. 59 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jets out of Baylor. He’s in the first year of his four-year, $5,433,700 rookie contract that includes a $1,511,782 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at Baylor, Mims had 186 receptions for 2,925 yards (15.7 YPC) and 28 touchdowns.
