Field Yates reports that the Jets are claiming DB C.J. Goodwin off of waivers from the Cardinals.

Goodwin, 28, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of California of Pennsylvania back in 2014. He bounced on and off their practice squad before signing on with the Falcons’ practice squad.

Atlanta decided to cut him shortly after signing him to a futures contract and was claimed off of waivers by the Cardinals back in December of last year. Arizona tendered him a one-year contract as an exclusive rights free agent but waived him on Tuesday.

In 2017, Goodwin appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and recorded nine tackles and no interceptions.
