The New York Jets claimed WR Walter Powell off of waivers from the Cardinals on Monday, according to his agency.

Arizona placed Powell on waivers Sunday after he was beaten out for one of the last remaining roster spots. Interestingly enough, the Jets waived their own sixth-round pick, Quincy Enunwa, earlier today.
Powell, 22, was the Cardinals sixth-round selection this year. He totaled 66 receptions for 837 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior season at Murray State.
