According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, free agent LB Spencer Paysinger is visiting with the Jets on Monday.
- Vacchiano mentions that Paysinger is unlikely to re-sign with the Giants.
This is the first reported interest in Paysinger we’ve come across since free agency got underway a few weeks ago.
Paysinger, 26, signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in 2011. Last year, the Giants used an original round tender on Paysinger, which paid him a one-year salary of $1.431 million.
In 2014, Paysinger appeared in 15 games recorded 15 total tackles while contributing on special teams for the Giants. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 16 outside linebacker in a 4-2 defense out of 35 qualifying players.
