The New York Jets announced Thursday that they’ve placed LB Blake Cashman on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL adjusted the injured reserve rules this summer to allow players to return from the list after missing three games.
Cashman, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2019. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year rookie deal worth $2.8 million and set to make a base salary of $585,000 for the 2020 season.
In 2020, Cashman has appeared in four games for the Jets and recorded four tackles and no sacks.
