According to Manish Mehta, the Jets have re-signed G Alex Lewis to a three-year, $18.6 million deal.
The Jets acquired Lewis in a trade at the start of the regular season and he made a strong impression in his one season in New York.
Lewis, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $2.831 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $828,539 for the 2019 season when the Ravens traded him to the Jets for a seventh-round pick.
In 2019, Lewis appeared in 15 games for the Jets while starting 12 of them. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 57 guard out of 80 qualifying players.
