Adam Schefter reports that the Jets are re-signing QB David Fales to a one-year contract on Tuesday.
Fales, 29, was taken in the sixth round of the Bears back in 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie year.
Fales was on and off of the Ravens’ practice squad throughout the 2016 season before the Bears signed him to their active roster. From there, Fales signed on with the Dolphins in 2017 and returned to Miami on a one-year contract for the 2018 season.
After being cut by the Dolphins, Fales signed on to the Jets’ practice squad before being called up during the season.
For his career, Fales has appeared in five games and completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 287 yards, one touchdown and an interception.
