The New York Jets announced that they have officially released S Jordyn Peters from their 90-man roster on Friday.

Peters, 22, signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn to a three-year, $2.4 million contract back in May.
During his four-year college career, Peters recorded 101 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, eight pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
