The New York Jets announced that they have placed S Josh Bush on waivers and activated LB Antwan Barnes from the reserve/PUP list.

Barnes, 29, was placed on the PUP list with a knee injury as the team worked to get their 53-man roster set before the start of the season. He’s in the second year of his Signed a three-year, $4 million contract and will make $1.2 million annually over the remainder of the contract.
Bush, 25, was taken in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He appeared in all 16 games during his first two years in the league, but has been limited to playing in three games this season and has just one tackle.
