The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed six players to future/reserve contracts including:
- DL Kenny Anunike
- WR Darius Jennings
- DL Claude Pelon
- FB Chris Swain
- TE Jason Vander Laan
- Kย Ross Martin
Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.
Anunike, 26, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in 2014. He spent just over two years in Denver before he was waived during the preseason several months ago.
The Jets later signed him to their practice squad in December.
In 2015, Anunike appeared in three games for the Broncos and recorded one tackle.
