Jets Sign OL Sean Hickey & RB Dominique Williams To Futures Deals

The New York Jets announced Tuesday they have signed OL Sean Hickey and RB Dominique Williams to reserve/future contracts.

The Jets have signed a number of players to future’s deals including:

13. CB Kevin Short
14. NT Deon Simon
15. OLB Julian Stanford

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and training camp.

Williams, 25, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2014. He lasted just a few months with the Vikings before signing on to the Cardinals’ practice squad.

Minnesota later brought him back before later signing him to future/reserve contract. He spent the entire 2015 season on their practice squad.
