Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Jets have signed third-round DL Nathan Shepherd to a four-year contract on Friday.

Shepherd, 25, was selected with the No. 72 pick in the third round of this year’s draft by the Jets.ย According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $3,447,720 contract that includes a $987,720 signing bonus.
During his three-year college career at Fort Hays State, Shepherd recorded 168 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, two blocked kicks, two forced fumbles, and 10 sacks over the course of 36 games.
