Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds reports that the Jets are signing LB Albert McClellan to a contract on Saturday.
This comes just a day after the Jets lost starting ILB Avery Williamson for the season with a torn ACL.
McClellan, 33, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2010. He finished out his two-year contract with the team before signing a new three-year, $3.75 million contract in 2016.
McClellan was set to make a base salary of $1.25 million for the 2018 season when the Ravens released him coming out of the preseason. He later caught on with the Patriots to close out the season.
In 2018, McClellan appeared in 13 games for the Ravens and Patriots recorded four tackles and a fumble recovery.
