Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets are signing WR Chris Owusu to a contract on Monday.
This comes just a few hours after the news broke that the Jets have signed former Bills WR T.J. Graham and waived 2014 fourth-round pick Jalen Saunders.
Owusu, 24, was cut loose by the Buccaneers last week as they made room for WR Louis Murphy. The Jets brought Owusu in for a workout this past weekend, so he was clearly on their radar in event that they needed to add a receiver.
Over the course of three games this season, Owusu has caught two passes for 20 yards receiving and a touchdown.
